Queen of the Castle

On our wedding day. I had so much fun twirling in my dress. It was such a wonderful day and I'm so lucky that I found the most perfect man for me.

This was the first time I held both of my twin nephews. It was love at first sight. They are almost 3 now and though some times I miss them this small, I love that I've been able to watch them grow and learn.

My little brother when he left on his mission in April of 2008.

I was a leader at Girl's Camp for a couple years. The last year I went, I got to go rappelling with the 4th years. I'm terrified of heights but I wanted to show the girls that you can conquer your fears. This is me SO thankful to be on the ground again.

Thanksgiving of 2009, my whole family was able to get together and we just soaked up as much time with our nephews as possible. We miss not being close to them, but I talk to my siblings often and love to hear all the stories and adventures.
Me with Grace shortly after she was born. Grace has brought me so much joy. I LOVE being a mom and am so grateful to Grace's birth mother and birth father that they gave me this blessing.

Grace and I have so much fun together. Being a stay at home mom has been such a blast. I love watching Grace grow and learn every day.

Me with Grace right after she was sealed to us for Eternity in the Mesa, AZ Temple. Words cannot describe the feeling of how grateful I am that we are all eternally linked.

This is our most recent picture together. It's incredible how someone so little can bring me so much joy.

I grew up in Gilbert Arizona. Growing up, I was involved in everything. I was in cheerleading, sang in the choir, played Tuba in the band, was in colorguard, participated in soccer, softball, and track and field, was in a musical, taught gymnastics, and enjoyed time with friends. My parents were always there to support me in any activity I chose. My dad was often my coach and mentor. My mom was my chauffeur to all my activities. One particular softball game, my whole family came to watch. My brothers and sister were in the stands yelling “Angee, Angee, she’s a winner! If she doesn’t get a hit, she doesn’t get dinner! WOO.” They were always there to cheer me on and help me laugh a little in the mean time. (I did end up getting a hit).

We are all still very close in spirit though we do not live near each other. My parents currently live in Utah where my dad is an attorney and my mom is serving a part time mission in the Family History Center in Salt Lake. My oldest brother also lives in Utah with his 2 sons Ethan (5), and Aaron (2). He is also engaged to be married in January 2012. My sister is in Texas with her husband and twin boys (David and Erik - 2) while her husband attends law school. She is also currently expecting another baby (Anna) in the end of July. My sister is one of my best friends and we talk almost daily on the phone. My little brother just finished his mission in Minnesota and is now attending BYU to finish his degree. We love getting together for holidays. Our family is all about laughing and you will at every meal hear the quote “These mashed potatoes are so creamy. Yes, very mashed.”(from While You Were Sleeping). This happens at literally every meal, regardless of whether there are mashed potatoes or not. It always makes us laugh and usually confuses any guests. We are also a pretty musical family. We all play an instrument (mostly Brass instruments) and every Christmas we are together we go caroling around the neighborhood with our instruments.

I am now 25 years old and I am so blessed to be able to have my dream job of being a stay at home mom. I love scrapbooking, photography, reading, making bows, and snuggling with Grace. I enjoy watching TV and my favorite shows are So You Think You Can Dance, Glee, and Bones. I love to shop and my favorite thing to buy is baby clothes for Grace and shoes for me.
