Leaving the hospital with our little bundle of joy. It was such a bittersweet day. We were thrilled to be bringing home our daughter but we hated seeing the birth parents in so much pain. But we are grateful we get to see them on a regular basis and they can watch Grace grow and see our love for her.
This was right after placement. We went to celebrate that we became a family of 3.
This is from our first 4th of July. Grace was exactly 2 months old. To celebrate, we went to her birth mom's house and watched the fireworks. Grace slept through the whole thing.
All of us at Grace's first baseball game when she was 6 weeks old. She slept through almost the whole thing. We had a great time though.
This is us in November of 2010. It was just after church and we had all dressed to match in purple (even Robby is wearing a purple tie).
This is us the day that Grace legally became ours (November 30, 2010). We are in the court room for this picture. The actual proceedings were very short and we were in shock that it was all over and she was ours.

This was in April 2011. Grace was about to turn 1. We took these photos to update our adoption profile. 3 months later, Joey's birth mom saw them and she told us that she fell in love with our family from these pictures.
This is Halloween 2011. We dressed up as Aladdin, Jasmine, and Rajah from the Disney movie Aladdin. Angee loves dressing the family up in theme costumes.
